Kyle shortlisted for two major industry awards

Sovereign founder Kyle Ross has been shortlisted for two major UK hair industry awards.

For the second year running, the businessman - winner of Britain's Best Barber in 2017 - has been named as one of five finalists in the 'Entrepreneur' category of the Creative HEAD IT List awards, British hairdressing's biggest awards night.

The list celebrates the brightest, most ambitious and creative new British and Irish talents aged 30 and under.

Kyle will join a star-studded, 700-strong guest list at Grand Final in November at The Printworks in London.

He has also been named as one of finalists in the 'Business Thinker' category of the Most Wanted Awards, held on the same night.

UNCHARTED TERRITORY

The nominations come as Sovereign prepares to re-open for the first time since March as lockdown restrictions are eased.

More than 600 bookings were made in just three hours after the salon's diary re-opened.

Kyle said: "It has been an incredibly difficult few months for the Sovereign team and everyone in our industry.

"However, there is now light at the end of the tunnel and everyone is delighted to be returning next week.
