Presented by leading industry magazine Creative HEAD and exclusively sponsored by global hair brand ghd, The IT List, now in its 11th year, provides an unparalleled platform for young hairdressers, with six categories – The Rising Star, The Editorial Stylist, The Entrepreneur, The Visionary, The It Guy and The It Girl – rewarding the very best in class.
Past winners have gone on to shoot with high-profile magazines, become ambassadors for global brands, lead hair teams at London Fashion Week and be signed by top talent agencies.
The magazine said the standard of this year’s entries was "exceptional".
Creative HEAD editor Amanda Nottage said: “What an incredible display of talent, innovation and determination this year’s It List finalist line-up illustrates.
"I’m so impressed at how each and every one of them fought for their place here during such a testing time, personally and professionally."UNCHARTED TERRITORY
The nominations come as Sovereign prepares to re-open for the first time since March as lockdown restrictions are eased.
More than 600 bookings were made in just three hours after the salon's diary re-opened.
Kyle said: "It has been an incredibly difficult few months for the Sovereign team and everyone in our industry.
"However, there is now light at the end of the tunnel and everyone is delighted to be returning next week.
"Being nominated for these awards is a huge honour and is entirely down to the barbers, male image experts and clients that make Sovereign what it is - so thank you!"
