A barber who started his career as a Sovereign Grooming apprentice has today been named Creative Director at the firm's flagship Aberdeen salon.
Nathan Robb is graduate of the Sovereign Apprenticeship Scheme, having trained under founder Kyle Ross.
He is a rising star of the Scottish barbering industry and is thriving in a creative role having left a 9-5 job as a pipe fitter to train at Sovereign.
After training with Sovereign, he became a Stylist in 2018 and was promoted to Senior Stylist in 2020, alongside taking a key educator role in the Sovereign Academy.
He will now be Creative Director at Sovereign Aberdeen with immediate effect - and is also in the running to be named Barber of the Year at the Scottish Hair and Beauty Awards next month.
Sovereign Managing Director, Kyle Ross, said: "Nathan joined us as one of the most talented young apprentices we have seen, and since then he has gone on to become a key figure in our business, and one of Scotland's most sought-after young stylists.
"We are delighted to see 'one of our own' rise to the position of Creative Director and it is a just reward for the hard work and talent Nathan has displayed over the years."

If you would like to follow Nathan's path, the Sovereign Grooming Academy offers training courses like no other.
Led by Kyle Ross, winner of Best Barber UK, students will enter into a full-time intensive training course spanning 15 weeks, where they will work towards achieving an SVQ Level 2 in barbering.
Over and above barbering qualifications, students will also develop the skills that make Sovereign barbers that little bit different, including photo shoots, session styling, stage presenting and much more.
Our goal is to give our graduates the perfect platform to sling shot themselves into this incredible industry.Click here to download the course brochure.
