Music icon Noel Gallagher has vowed to continue rocking into his 90s - as long as his trademark mop of hair lives forever.
The ex-Oasis star, 52, spoke recently about surpassing 76-year-old Mick Jagger and playing live into his eighties and even nineties.
However, he said he will reassess his plans entirely if he goes bald.
He said: “There is one fundamental reason why I do not give a sh** about the age thing – it is this full head of hair.”
Talking about his scalp, he continued: “This little f***er here dictates everything.
"Can you imagine a bald Mick Jagger – it is a horrifying thought. That just says it all. It is all about the hair – that is it.”
So how does the High Flying Birds singer turn his Holy Mountain of hair into The Right Stuff? (one for the Gallagher aficionados there)
Here's our quick guide...WHY DO WE LIKE THIS STYLE?
This a modern twist on the traditional Mod style, a classic which has withstood the test of time.
It suits young and old, as long as the hair volume is there to sustain it.WHO DOES THIS STYLE SUIT?
As mentioned above, this is one for those with thick hair.
Noel may have a full head of hair and an enviable full hairline, but that also has its drawbacks. He has cows licks and awkward growth patterns, which actually limits the styles he can have.
Cropping the fringe is the best way to avoid a daily battle with these tricky patterns.WHAT TO ASK YOUR BARBER FOR
A short, scissor-cut back and sides. Ask for plenty of texture through the top to add movement and interest. This will also remove weight.
With thick, straight hair, managing shape is also a must to avoid it turning into a messy mass on top.
Tightening the sides and building the shape out from the crown helps to create a squarer shape, which is often what we aim for in men's hair.WHAT PRODUCTS TO USE
A wax / clay hybrid is best here, making Hanz de Fuko Claymation
the perfect product for this look.
This needs to be applied to dry hair. Take a fingertip size amount and work vigorously into your hands until it feels like it has disappeared. Then work through the hair, starting with the crown and working forward.
